I poured my heart into learning the art of lash extensions, as I once dreamed of opening a beauty salon. However, the demanding hours and physical strain became too much with my back issues. Hesitantly, I let go of my salon dream and shifted my focus to studying Industrial Design.

After graduating, I worked as a freelance UX designer with major tech companies and expanded my professional network. Despite my accomplishments, I felt persistent emptiness, as though I hadn't yet found my true calling.

In search of clarity and inspiration, I took a spontaneous trip to Japan. Before my flight, I booked a lash extension appointment, expecting quality service for the high price tag. To my discontent, all my lash extensions fell out within the first week. Sleepless nights followed, filled with thoughts on improving the lash extension experience and innovating what was missing in the market.

This frustration sparked my creativity, leading to the concept of Pre-Xdhesive lashes, our first product. Once back home, I dedicated myself to designing and testing the lashes, working with strangers and myself as BETA testers. Positive feedback poured in, with countless people expressing how I had helped solve their current issues, which motivated me to make it happen, so Daeja was born.

I wake up daily with profound gratitude, knowing I can potentially make a meaningful difference in others’ lives. For the first time, I feel fulfilled, living my passion and purpose by helping women feel empowered anytime and anywhere.
